FAQ's
I'm really unfit and am overweight, will it be suitable for me?
As long as your doctor hasn't told you not to exercise, you should be fine. Your instructor will show you "low-impact" (without the hops) as well as "high-impact" (with the hops) throughout the class so you can pace yourself. It's not a competition and we have new people starting all the time, so you won't feel out of place. Just come with an open mind and don't expect to "get" everything at first! Exercise should be fun!
How much does a class cost?
Please view our pricing options here.
How often should I exercise?
If you are new to exercise, begin with 2-3 classes a week and gradually add classes. To increase your fitness level, work out 4-5 times per week.
May I bring drinks and food to a class?
We recommend Jazzercisers bring a non-breakable water bottle with a lid to class. Prevent accidents and spillage by keeping drinks out of the way of other Jazzercisers. No food or gum, please.
Do I need weights?
Weights are optional for new customers. We recommend you familiarize yourself with the basic exercises and techniques before using light (3-5lb.) weights.
Do I need special clothes or equipment?
Any loose, comfortable clothes are fine. Most people wear bike shorts or jazz pants and a bra top or T-shirt. Bring along a towel or exercise mat for the floor work. Good, rubber-soled aerobic shoes are recommended.
